RETRAVISION AND VARIETY WORKING TOGETHER FOR WA KIDS
Retravision a proudly West Australian company has joined forces with Variety WA to make a real difference to those children that need it most. Here are just a few of the WA children who have already benefited in a significant way, thanks to grants from the Retravision-Variety partnership:
Three year-old Cameron from Dianella has a rare condition causing frequent seizures and mobility and vision impairment. To help him overcome this, Cameron has been given specialist equipment that will provide maximum comfort and safety, and allow him to better interact with family and friends.
Five year-old Solomon from Kensington lives with Global Developmental Delay, and requires specialist head and body support while travelling. olomon now has a new custom car seat that will provide much needed postural support, safety and comfort.
Nine year-old James from Murdoch, who lives with Cerebral Palsy, no longer needs to be lifted up stairs in his wheelchair. A grant of a new portable ramping system means James can now easily access his home, and get out and about with freedom.
Five year-old Teagan from Ashfield who has a severe motor disorder and epilepsy and is confined to a wheelchair, has a new customised tricycle that allows her to enjoy fun and freedom, while at the same time developing her motor skills and muscle strength.
Fifteen year-old Corey from Palmyra, who lives with Cerebral Palsy, now has a new laptop and software package that will enable him to overcome his handwriting and movement difficulties, keep up with his classroom peers and reach his full academic potential.
Retravision is proud to support Variety in helping the children of WA who need it most.
